#14 7/8 lap stitch screw is a Self Drilling Screw with Steel Backed Neoprene Washer. Commonly used for panel to panel side lap, end lap and other stitch applications, or fastening two thin sheets of overlapping roof material.
These screws will drill through metal panels and carport steel frames easily. They are tough, can be use for anything.
Self Piercing Screws penetrate metal and tap their own mating threads to eliminate the need for prepuce holes.
