Very Important Coventry Climax, The first rear engine formula engine of the modern era, Doug Nye lists FPF/430/3/1023 as sold to Rob Walker inn 1957.
He first used this engine in a Cooper Type 43 chassis F2-7-57, ( Now in the Revs Museum, the museum car has the larger 2.0 used in 1958 ) Drivers include Jack Brabham and Sterling Moss. This would go great in a recreation Type 43!
The Engine is relatively complete and in great rebuildable condition, Includes the very rare twin SUs, Missing Cams, some timing gears and oil pumps.
