If you are curious about muckraking in America and are lazy, then you could maybe read a book or watch a streaming video documentary. But if you like to get your information the hard way and want to get into some sweet 1974 headspace, then you can do what your elders did (or if you're old what you used to do) and watch an education filmstrip. You will need a filmstrip projector and a cassette player for the full, immersive analog experience - I told you it was the hard way. The film itself is intact but going red. The box is tattered with library markings (it was picked up from a library sale). One of the charming features of this item is the grossly inefficient packaging. They use a box with a capacity for eight filmstrips to hold two.
