    "Here is my transcription of Ammons playing his own Southside boogie/stride composition.  This is wonderful stuff which I transcribed from the famous 1939 Hotel Sherman broadcasts featuring Ammons, Pete Johnson and Meade Lux Lewis.  It is a blessing that they were recorded for posterity."     John Farrell  1936-2007
