RARE CIVIL WAR ERA MEN'S PRINT COTTON SHIRT W RUCHED & RUFFLE BIB FRONT
DATING TO THE CIVIL WAR ERA
FASHIONED OF A BROWN GRID PRINT COTTON AND IS MACHINE SEWN THROUGHOUT.
BAND COLLAR WITH A STAR ETCHED MOTHER OF PEARL BUTTON IN THE CENTER WITH THREE MILK GLASS BUTTONS CLOSING THE REAR.
THE BIB FRONT IS IN RUCHED GATHERING WITH RUFFLES RUNNING DOWN THE CENTER.
THE SLEEVES ARE SET OFF THE SHOULDER WITH A FULL PUFF SLEEVE THAT IS GATHERED INTO A WIDE BOTTOM CUFF WITH BUTTONS CLOSING.
THE INNER TOP BOTH FRONT AND REAR IS REINFORCED WITH A LINING.
CONDITION
:  THERE IS SOME FADING SEEN TO THE COTTON PRINT ATOP THE SHOULDERS, AS PICTURED.  A SEAM UNDER THE RIGHT ARM HAS TORN OPEN WITH A HOLE BENEATH AND IS IN NEED OF A PATCHED MEND WITH THE OPPOSITE ARM HOLE ON THE FRONT HAVING TWO STRAIGHT STITCH NEAT MENDS.
TWO FINGERTIPS OF LIGHT BROWN STAINING ARE ON THE FRONT SHIRT TAILS.  TWO SMALLER PINPOINTS OF STAIN ON THE REAR BOTTOM SHIRT TAILS AND TWO BROWN STAINS AT THE UNDER SIDE SEAM ON THE RIGHT SLEEVE.
