    Issued by Merit Oil Co., Reading, PA. This logo was used by Merit from 1971 on. Used at most of the 178 Merit retail gasoline stations which are concentrated in the New York City, Boston and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. Nearly all of these locations have been rebranded Hess (Token Catalog).
    The token is made of aluminum and measures 24x25mm in diameter.
