Description
These are three tether cars that were handed down to me by my grandfather. He collected model airplane motors and tether car stuff related. He was part of the Model Engine Collectors Association (MECA). I can take more pictures upon request since eBay only allows me to upload 12 pictures. These cars were well taken care of and seem to be hardly used at all. I would like to think judging by the condition they are in, that they will actually start-up and run. All three of these cars were manufactured in California. The "red car" is a Roy Cox Thimble Drome Special by Dooling Bros.
The "yellow car" is a Ohlsson & Rice Motorjet according to paperwork I have.
The yellow "Hot Rod" style car is a Rodzy manufactured by Cameron Precision Engineering CO. out in California and is NOT a reproduction car from Nylint. The box that it comes with is a reproduction box when Nylint did do a reproduction run. The box is used to store the car. The serial number on the box is RDZ B 0676/5000.
I'm sure some people will have lots of questions regarding these cars. Please allow me some time to respond since I would have to find more information from my father if needed.
